Very highly recomended

There is absolutely no arguments: Hidden Paradise serves the best food in Hunza. The food is freshly cooked and offers the widest range of authentic Hunza cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. It is recommended that you ask suggestions for the seasonal specialties. This is a family owned enterprise and each guest is treated like family and every effort is made to satisfy the guest. Their specialty bread, potato dishes ,their vegetable dishes and meat dishes are recommended.

Authentic local cuisine with friendly service

We went to Hidden Paradise on recommendation of our hotel. Tried a variety of soups and mains. Overall a great experience trying a unique cuisine that I was not familiar with. Its not a posh place but you're in the wrong part of the world if posh is your thing. Has a great view. Food is very good. Service was excellent.

Delightful experience

YoutubeWe wanted to try local cuisine from Hunza and were recommended Hidden Paradise - a family run restaurant. We ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed each one. The taste is different to what you get from a traditional Pakistani restaurant. Food is generally less spicy here which accentuates the flavour of ingredients. I particularly liked Chapshuro (flat bread with chicken stuffing), a yougurt and bread dish, a green leaves curry made with indigenous plants and a potatoe and walnut dish. Not knowing what type of food to expect we played safe and ordered a chicken karahi as well. To our delight this was done in a Hunza way, with just the right amount of spice. Food was served in traditional in wooden bowls and plates that added to the experience. The service was friendly and I enjoyed talking to the Javid Karim sahib (the proprietor). I hope this place continues to serve traditional seasonal food and doesn't fall into commercial traps.

Authentic Hunza food

Good was pretty good and rich in flavors. It's a must go If you wanna try authentic food from the Hunza. Staff is really friendly, food is cooked fresh on order. Menu is pretty self explanatory but staff know the menu pretty well which is really hard to find in Hunza.
5 star.
